Why the Name Liminist?
A company or person in a liminal state is one that is undergoing change or transition, such as a merger or acquisition, a shift in business strategy, the introduction of new technologies or processes, or even layoffs. During this time, there is a state of uncertainty or ambiguity as people seek to redefine their own identity and purpose or that of the company they lead. This can be a challenging period for the company and its employees, as they may be required to adapt to new ways of working and to navigate unfamiliar territory. In order to successfully navigate this liminal state, the people need to adopt a flexible and adaptive mindset, be open to new ideas and perspectives, and be willing to take risks and embrace change. A liminist is someone who specializes in helping a company or person successfully traverse this liminal state. A liminal state specialist… get it?
Why a Leadership Coach?
